Thedeliciousripplingnoiseofthestreamwasdrivinghernearlyfrantic.

“Willyoupromisenotto—doanythingtome,ifIdocome?”saidJill.

“Imakenopromise,”saidtheLion.

Jillwassothirstynowthat,withoutnoticingit,shehadcomeastepnearer.

“Doyoueatgirls?”shesaid.
